If heating costs are a financial burden to your household, due to a fixed income or low income situation, the Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) is available to help cover those costs. After an application process is completed and approved, LIEAP provides periodic payment directly to energy providers on behalf of eligible households. Those in need of emergency utility assistance may also apply for that through this program.
