Boone County’s Lighthouse Program provides eligible seniors with In-Home Care Services, to give them, along with their family members, support and peace of mind. With this program, seniors with varying levels of medical needs can remain independent at home with up to 60 hours of care services per month.
Our Lighthouse Program includes:
- Personal Care and hygiene
- Transferring in/out of bed, walking, light exercise
- Balanced meal preparation, eating, grocery/pharmacy pick-up, and other errands
- Light housekeeping, making/changing bed linens and laundry
Eligibility:
Must be a resident of Boone County, WV and be:
- 60+ years of age
- Medically eligible based on an evaluation
- Financially eligible
